When starting this brand we didn't know if we wanted to keep the original name but we as the 2 owners went through our own personal battles, with Jackson his fathers passing in November 2023, and other mental struggles. And for Zay he battled his grandfathers passing and other family, personal matters. It then became clear to us that this is what we want base our brand around. Even all the good that had came our way we knew what our overall goal and what we wanted to accomplish with this brand. We don't see Unkept Promises/UNKPT as just a clothing brand we see it as a movement, a way of life. We knew the message we wanted to install in our supporters/family. We want to elevate people's lifestyle not only by wearing our clothes, but to look and feel good overall when wearing it or just supporting our movement! We want everyone to know that no matter your background, gender, race, where you come from, or even what your physically or mentally going through, you have to keep pushing and moving UP in life. Even through all the unkept promises, lies, misfortunes, setbacks and hardships that we al go through. You can and have the potential to do anything you put your mind too and change your life for the better for not only you, but for the ones around you! IF you put the work in, trust in god, and most importantly BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
